Orlando Vacation Home Rental

Diary of a traveler. Day 1. "Dear Diary, we arrived in Florida today to start our 3 week holiday. It's very exciting! The first thing we did after picking up our rent-a-car was to drive to our Orlando vacation home rental to drop off our bags. We were just going to stop at the house for a moment before going shopping, but as soon as we stepped foot inside, we put our bags down then paused.

It felt like we had arrived home! The house we were staying in - that is, our Orlando vacation home rental - was beautiful and inviting and furnished with everything you'd have in your own home. It was clean and well kept. Then one of the kids peered out the back window and shouted 'pool!!!' and that is what we spent the rest of the first day of our vacation doing: enjoying our very own clean, private, peaceful, relaxing pool. No contending with other tourists or wondering if the towel on the chair is yours. No worrying about leaving your glasses by the side of the pool and thinking that someone will step on them. No noise from a thousand kids screaming and splashing while you're trying to relax. It was an amazing start to a vacation."

Day 2. "Dear Diary, I can't believe we have 3 weeks of this. This will be the best holiday we've ever been on, simply because of our Orlando vacation home rental. I've prepared food for the family without having to worry about what my son can eat with his food allergies, or what my husband can eat with his diet. And the money we're saving from restaurant purchases is unbelievable! I should know, this isn't the first time we've done this trip, but it's the first time we haven't stayed at a hotel.

My friends asked me if I would miss the room service or housekeeping and I wasn't sure... until now. I totally don't miss it! Forget room service, we "splurged" and ordered delivery on evening. And housekeeping? I prefer NOT to have someone rooting around in my bedroom every day while I'm down at the pool. This is our first Orlando vacation home rental experience and it has become the best Florida holiday we have ever had.
